Picture yourself and your sweetheart dressed in vintage 40s attire and cutting a rug to music from Terry Chesson Jump 'n Jive Orchestra. Plenty of tasty eats will be available as well. If you don’t know how to do the dances of the 40s, don’t let that keep you away. Swing Virginia members will be on hand to teach the jitterbug, East Coast swing and the lindy hop. Most people aren’t familiar with hangar dances. These events were held in airplane hangars during WWII to raise funds for the war effort. The dance will be held from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the Military Aviation Museum at 1341 Princess Anne Road. Tickets may be purchased now for
