Taste of the Town 5K

There's still time to register for the Taste of the Town 5K run, walk and Tot Trot in Virginia Beach! This unique event, sponsored by the Town Center Kiwanis, combines a charitable run, Veteran's Day celebration and taste of the Town Center. This year the post party will take place at Gordon Birsch brewery and restaurant. The event will also honor Don Clark, a lawyer and active Virginia Beach community member who lost his battle with cancer this year. The 5K race takes place on Saturday November 2 starting at 8 a.m. The 5K awards ceremony and Tot Trot, a free run for children under 6, start at 9 a.m. Free parking will be available at Town Center garages located on Market Street, Central Park Avenue and Town Center Drive. All activities take place only a few minutes from Virginia Beach KOA. If you aren't already staying at Virginia Beach KOA this weekend, make your reservation now and be sure to check our Hot Deals page for specials. Our Hampton Roads local resident special
