The Cherry Blossom Festival is Back in Virginia Beach

Lift your spirits this spring at the annual kite festival in Virginia Beach. No one does spring quite like we do here in Virginia Beach, with oceanfront concerts, delicious local restaurants, family gatherings and beautiful weather! Come out and join the fun, and stay at Virginia Beach KOA. The Atlantic Coast Kite Festival is taking place April 30, 2016 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on the beach between 16 th and 18 th Streets. This annual festival brings hundreds of people together to fill the sky with vibrant kites. The joyful and colorful event is great for all age groups and levels of kitefliers. Bring your purchased or homemade kite and enter it into the Best Kite Contest from 1:30 – 3 p.m. You may just win the award based on kite construction, your kite-flying ability and how long and how high your kite can fly.
