While this attraction is fun any time of the year, it’s entrancing during the holidays. Be sure and visit, so you can enjoy the heartwarming shows, shop for last-minute gifts and savor festive food. The lyrics that tell of Christ’s birth, death, resurrection and triumphant return to Earth are set to brilliant musical scores that range from tender to majestic. Some feel that the work is the most exquisite piece of music ever written. There is no better way to remember the reason for the season than hearing this production by the Virginia Symphony Orchestra and Chorus on December 13.
