Easter Weekend An Easter Egg Stravaganza will be held on Easter Weekend, April 10 to 12, at Virginia Beach KOA. Activities on the agenda include egg dying, an Easter egg hunt and games. Shamrock Marathon Weekend

The event will include a fitness expo, as well as races that are appropriate for all skill levels and ages. The race route goes right past Virginia Beach KOA! Some of the joys associated with the race are scenic oceanfront views, live music at the finish line, and Irish stew provided by Murphy’s Pub. It’s a great way to welcome the arrival of spring. Leave it to our fair city to offer interesting options, one of which is a sunset and stargazing tour at False Cape State Park. This enchanting escapade involves going to the best vantage spot for watching the grandeur of the nightly sun’s descent over the horizon.  Once darkness descends, it’s the perfect place to admire the glittering starry hosts strewn across the black velvet sky. When the weather isn’t suitable for stargazing, your guide may take you on a forest hike to learn about local history and to look for owls. Admission is $8 to $10.
