Murder Mystery Dinner Show

via The Dinner Detective You’ll find many places in Virginia Beach where you can have a lovely dinner, but there is only one place to have a uniquely hilarious time while feasting on a four-course meal ⁠ —  the Dinner Detective. Here, actors hidden in the audience orchestrate an interactive comedy, where “detectives” help patrons solve a murder mystery. The top sleuth is awarded a prize. What a hoot! Tickets for the dinner and mystery combo are $60. Shows run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. every other Saturday night. The location of the Dinner Detective is 1900 Pavilion Drive. While listening to popular local bands entertain, you can chow down on food from Red River Smokehouse BBQ, A Bite of Maine and other eateries. Good music and delicious food is an unbeatable combination. Registered campers get a special deal that weekend: Buy one night, and get the second for only $25, along with free admission to the event. Classic Car Cruise-In Vintage cars in all their glory will be on display on October 5 at the Atlantic Shores Classic Car Cruise-In. The event will include live music. October Fall Family Festival Weekends

More on the Neptune Festival

Last week, we talked about some of the features of the upcoming Neptune Festival, such as the Sandsculpting Championships. However, because it’s such a major event, it involves so much more. Here’s the scoop on what else to anticipate during this fabulous gala on the last weekend of September. via NeptuneFestival.com Take a break from boardwalk activities to watch the Atlantic Regatta on September 28. From 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., boats will race across the water from Cape Henry to Rudee Inlet. You can view the exciting finish from the 24 th Street Park. The Neptune’s 8K Run offers a course with a beautiful ocean view for running, jogging or walking. After you cross the finish line, you can celebrate at the post-race party at the 31 st Street Park. The race is free for spectators and $40 to $50 for participants. It will be held on September 28 from 6:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Yet there’s more!
