Honey
Festival
A sweet affair is scheduled at the Virginia Beach farmers’ market on June
22 – the Honey Festival. The gala will offer live music, children’s activities
and a craft show, along with the opportunity to visit with beekeepers. Come
enjoy this family event and pick up a jar of honey to take home. Raw honey is
terribly healthful, and it’s delicious mixed into a cup of hot tea or poured
over biscuits.
Admission is free. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The address is 3640
Dam Neck Road.
