Chalk the Walk ARTsplosion

At the Chalk the Walk ARTsplosion on July 6, artists and aspiring artists will transform the boardwalk into a canvas of masterpieces. Judges will award trophies and cash prizes for winners in three divisions: Youth, Amateur and Professional. Whether you participate or just observe, it will be interesting.

Admission is free. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The location is the boardwalk from 10^th to 20^th Streets.

Symphony by the Sea

While it’s pleasant to listen to symphony music in a concert hall, it’s even more enjoyable to listen to it on the waterfront. Here, you can feel gentle ocean breezes and watch the stars come out while letting your spirit soar with majestic musical scores. The Virginia Beach Orchestra concerts are held on various Thursday nights during the summer, with the next two scheduled for July 11 and July 25.

Admission is free.  Hours are from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. The location is the 31th Street Stage Park at 3100 Atlantic Avenue.
