Latin Fest Is Coming

If you love the sound of merengue, salsa and jazz music, you won’t want to miss the Latin Fest on June 21 and 22. First-rate national performers will energize the audience with lively tunes that make dancing under the starry sky irresistible. This wonderful family gala will also include Hispanic food, vendors and cultural activities.

The event presents a great opportunity to try Zumba. On Saturday morning, dozens of instructors will teach their favorite moves to people of all ages in the Mambo Room, located at the 17^th Street Park. Newbies are welcome, as no experience is required.

Broadway and Film Tunes Performance

On June 20, the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts will present a Jazz Series, which includes great songs from plays and movies. The music will come from famous composers, such as Cole Porter, Gershwin and Mancini, who are a well-known part of the American theater culture.
