Music Cruise-In Weedend
If you love the music and cars of yesteryear, Beach Music Cruise-In
Weekend on May 10 to 12 is a must-do! The three days will be filled with golden
oldies’ concerts, and classic cars will turn the boardwalk into a
Virginia version of Route 66. Food and dancing is included as well.
The Car Show
portion is free, and will run on Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm. Check the Beach
Street USA website for concert schedules and ticket prices. All events begin at
30th Street on the Boardwalk.
Virginia
International PAN Fest (PANorama)
Our fair city offers some unusual galas, one of which is PANorama, a musical
extravaganza on May 10 and 11. Every year, people of all ages are drawn to the
relaxing vibe of the event that features the island sounds of steel drum music,
along with international food. The oceanfront will be transformed into a
Jamaican Paradise for the weekend.
Admission is free. A concert is scheduled for Friday night, and
competitions are on the agenda for Saturday. The location is the 24th
Street Stage Park.
