Home for
the Holidays Concert
If you love these songs, you won’t want to miss the Home for the Holidays
concert on December 1. It will be a USO-style show performed by the Guava Jam
Band.
Admission is free. Hours are from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. The location is the
Virginia Beach Convention Center at 1000 19th Street.
Holiday
Pops
It’s very special to hear traditional carols and seasonal songs played by
a symphony orchestra and sung by professional singers. On December 22, you can
attend a Holiday Pops concert presented by the Virginia Symphony Orchestra and
Chorus. The beauty and meaning of the music will fill your heart with warmth
and joy.
Tickets start at $27 and go up to $112. Showtime is 8 p.m. The location
is the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts at 201 Market Street.
Reminder
Don’t forget that the city’s wonderful Holiday Parade is also on December
1 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue.
