Adventureworks is a brand new zipline tour located on the property of Virginia Beach KOA. It features nine fast -- but completely safe -- ziplines through lush forests and lovely wetlands. Wildlife sightings are common, including a recent visit by three bald eagles. It’s ideal for families or groups of friends and is open year-round. The invigorating salt air and natural beauty of the area will enhance your enjoyment of this fun activity.

Ynot Wednesdays

Every Wednesday through the end of August, you can attend a free concert at the Sandler Center Outdoor Plaza. Genres vary widely, including everything from blues to Motown. Ynot Italian, the sponsor, will provide pizza or sandwiches for purchase to chow down on while listening to the music. The event is also a good opportunity to pick up some luscious locally grown produce from the farmers’ market, which is also held on the plaza.

Admission is free. Hours are from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The address is 201 Market Street.
