Salute to Summer
via Beach Street USA |
What makes the event extra special is the touching tribute to the brave
men and women who serve in the U.S. armed forces. This will come in the form of
the Heroes Walk, which is a display of essays written by area high school students
that are reproduced on banners for passersby to read. It will be a wonderful
reminder of how grateful we are for the military’s sacrifices on our behalf.
The stages are located at the Dairy Queen Grill & Chill at 17th
Street Park, 24th Street Park and 31st Street Park. Hours are from 8 p.m. to
10:45 p.m.
Murder
Mystery Dinner Show
When you’re looking for entertainment that is somewhat different, take in
a murder mystery dinner show held every other Saturday night at The Dinner
Detective. The idea is for guests to try to crack the case and identify the
murderer. Hours are from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., and the location is 1900 Pavilion
Drive.
