Halloween Activities at Virginia Beach

The weekend before Halloween is a good time for a camping trip at Virginia Beach because of the special events planned in the area. Here are some suggestions for ways to celebrate the holiday.

Halloween Glow

On October 27 and 28, the Adventure Park at Virginia Aquarium will host Halloween Glow in the Park. Eerie decorations will make the evenings among the trees downright spooky. The Glow in the Park event is for people 18 and older, but the events are an opportunity to enjoy the fun of the holiday in a safe way. You’ll find the Adventure Park at 801 General Booth Boulevard in Virginia Beach.

Haunticus Nauticus

An alternative for October 28 is Haunticus Nauticus, which will involve a full day of scary activities. Kids will have a blast participating in the skeletal scavenger hunt, spooky crafts and magical science, as well as the spin-the-wheel giveaway, face painting and balloon twister.

Admission is free for kids up to age 12 who are wearing a costume. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The address is One Waterside Drive in Norfolk.
