Boardwalk Weekend
A fabulous annual fall festival, Boardwalk Weekend on September 20 to October 1 is the time when hundreds of thousands of people gather at the waterfront to enjoy entertainment, shopping and food.

Visitors can attend concerts at various stages along the 32-block boardwalk and shop for everything from stained glass to pottery. In addition, the event includes a grand parade, volleyball tournament and Atlantic regatta, as well as a crafts show, fireworks display and running marathon. It will also be a good opportunity to sample local foods such as crab cakes and Italian ices.
Admission is free. The location is the oceanfront from 2nd to 36th Streets, and the stages are at the 17th, 24th and 31st Street Parks.
Hours are from noon to 11 p.m. on Friday, from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Concerts begin at 5:30 p.m. on Friday and at 1 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The fireworks are scheduled for 9 p.m. on Saturday.
