East Coast Surfing Championships
On August 20 to 27, hundreds of surfers will descend on Virginia Beach to compete in the Coastal Edge East Coast Surfing Championships.

This major competition will award titles and prizes, but most of all, it’s a celebration of the sheer joy of the sport. Even if you wouldn’t dream of setting foot on a surfboard, it will be nice to watch the amazing skill of those who ride the waves on nothing but a piece of fiberglass or plastic. While the centerpiece of the event is surfing, the festivities will include food and other activities. Mark your calendars for this fun party.
