American Music Festival
Mark your calendars for September 1 to 3, when the 24th Annual American Music Festival will be held at Virginia Beach.

One of the largest events of its kind on the East Coast, the affair will offer music for every taste. Fans can hear the hit songs of a broad spectrum of more than 20 talented groups, with headliners 311, Michael Franti & Spearhead, 3 Doors Down, Rebelution and The Wallflowers performing on the main stage at 5th Street, and numerous local and regional bands performing at the 17th, 24th, and 31st Street Stages.
Tickets for main stage acts for each day are $20 in advance and $25 the day of the show, while preferred viewing tickets are $40 and $45 the day of the show. You may also purchase a three-day general admission ticket at the Visitor Information Center at 2100 Parks Avenue. Concerts at the smaller street stages are free.
