There is something about items made in another era that lend character to a home. Mark your calendar for August 4 to 6, the dates of the Virginia Beach Antique Show, where 100 dealers will present furniture, porcelains, silver, jewelry, pottery, fine jewelry, rugs and fine art. An appraiser will also be on hand, so bring your treasures to find out approximately how much they might be worth.
An admission fee of $8 will gain you admittance to all three days of the event. Hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. The location is the Convention Center at 1000 19th Street.
