Patriotic Festival
Virginia Beach is proud to be home to one of the largest military bases in the country, and the city would like to honor the armed forces who serve us so well.

On June 2 to 4, we will salute our troops at the Patriotic Festival, a grand event of free concerts and summer fun. You can enjoy the music of well-known artists like Old Dominion, Jake Owen and Darius Rucker, as well as watch demonstrations and browse a collection of military vehicles. Other entertainment will include performances by a USO Show Troop, U.S. Fleet Band and Marines’ Silent Drill Platoon.
Don’t miss the USO Military Expo Village on 17th Street. The location for the Friday evening, Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon concerts is 5th Street and Oceanfront; and the location of the displays is from 15th to 20th Streets.
Stay With Us
Most men love spending time outdoors, so a great way to celebrate Father’s Day is to have a family camping trip on that weekend. When you vacation with us on June 16 to 18, the kids can stay free of charge.
Each Saturday and Sunday, we have a special theme. May 25 to 29 is Memorial Weekend, June 2 to 4 is Celebrate the Great Outdoors Weekend, June 9 to 11 is Chocolate Weekend and June 16 to 18 is Father’s Day Hero’s Weekend.
