Hello Dolly!

Those of us who are above a certain age think that nothing can compare to the musicals of the ‘60s.

The lovely songs woven into the fabric of a lighthearted story provide the most wonderful entertainment. Many of us have watched the same shows over and over down through the years, yet we never seem tire of them. Such is the case with Hello Dolly!, a play that will be presented at the Sandler Center on February 24 to 26.

The charming plot is set in turn-of-the century New York City. When the lead character Dolly Levi, a kindly but meddling widow, decides to seek someone with whom to share her life, she finds true love. The memorable songs include "It Only Takes a Moment," "Before the Parade Passes By," "Put on Your Sunday Clothes" and the title number, "Hello, Dolly!"

Admission ranges from $20 to $62. The address is 201 Market Street. Click here to book online.
