Horseback Riding on the Beach

Our area has an array of businesses that offer horseback riding, one of which is Virginia Beach Horseback. They provide guided rides that include instructions in how to control a horse. No experience is necessary.

Between now and January 1, you can view the Festival of Lights from horseback. The rides start after sunset. Picture yourself riding along the beach while breathing in bracing salt air and feasting your eyes on sparkling decorations. The rate is $85 per person for one to two riders. It is located at 31st Street and the oceanfront.

Waterman’s Surfside Grill

If you’d like to stop for supper before or after your ride, Waterman’s Surfside Grill has a wonderful view of the water. They serve delicious food, and their orange crushes get rave reviews. The address is 415 Atlantic Avenue.
