Christmas Market

Everyone loves holiday markets because they carry beautiful items with which to adorn the home for the holidays. They are also great sources of creative gifts.

You can shop for all the loved ones on your list at the Christmas Market on November 25 to 27 at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. Artisans will display holiday décor and Christmas collectibles along with stained glass, toys, jewelry and much more.

Admission is $8 for adults and $2 for children between the ages of 6 to 12. Parking is free. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Christmas Town at Busch Gardens

Busch Gardens in Williamsburg is a little over an hour’s drive from our city. It’s worth a trip there to see Christmas Town, which will open on November 25 and continue till January 2. You can see one of the largest holiday light displays in the country, as well as shop and attend heart-warming shows. Be sure and get a mug of the park’s specialty -- peppermint fudge hot chocolate.
