Lose yourself in the beauty and grace of The Nutcracker, a ballet choreographed to the strains of the great musical scores of Tchaikovsky. The costumes and charming story along with the music and dancing work together to make an entrancing production. Because of the way it delights the senses, the show is a cherished annual tradition for many. It will be presented at the Sandler Center for Performing Arts at 7:30 p.m. on December 16, as well as at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on December 17. Tickets are $20.

Home for the Holidays

Head over to Battleship Wisconsin on December 9 to listen to a free holiday concert. Performers include Old Dominion University Department of Music students, Home for the Holidays singers and Guava Jam. The shows start at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
