Spend Halloween Weekend with Us

The kids won’t miss out on Halloween when you plan a camping trip to Virginia Beach on the last weekend in October. The local celebration is just one of a host of things to see and do in the area.

Town and Treat

In today’s world, sometimes trick-or-treating carries a few safety risks. On October 29, Fountain Plaza and Pembroke Mall will host Town and Treat, a family event that involves all of the fun but none of hazards associated with the holiday such as dodging traffic and tainted candy. You can dress up in your costumes and trick-or-treat at many participating stores. The gala also includes face painting, pumpkin decorating, balloon artists and a dance performance. Hours are from noon to 4 p.m. and admission is free.

TASTE at Bayville Farms

If you’re looking for an interesting place to have lunch that won’t break the family budget, head over to TASTE at Bayville Farms. Before sitting down to look at the menu, you can browse through the famers’ market and gourmet food market. Afterwards, relax at one of the tables on the lawn and select something fresh and delicious from the menu of soups, salads, and desserts. Try the Tai chicken salad. The alfresco meal is a perfect way to enjoy the pleasant October weather.
