Fun Educational Events Coming Up at Virginia Beach
Aside from the vibrant entertainment to be found in Virginia Beach, the community also has fun educational events that are helpful to people in many ways. Two excellent ones coming up are the VegFest and the Ultimate Show for Women.
VegFest

The Hampton Roads VegFest will be held on November 6 in the Festival Center located at 708 Atlantic Avenue. Some scientific research suggests optimal health can be obtained through eating a plant-based diet. Because of its beneficial effects, it will be interesting to learn more about the vegan lifestyle. The festival will offer delicious food along with speakers who will teach how to overhaul our health. It will also have live entertainment, a kids’ activity zone and the the opportunity to shop for eco products. Hours are from noon to 5 p.m.
Ultimate Show for Women
On November 5, the Ultimate Show for Women will provide fresh ideas on many topics. You can get tips on how to update your appearance and spruce up your home, as well as learn the nutritional habits and fitness methods needed to look and feel great. Local women-owned businesses and vendors will be featured. Hours of the show are from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and the location is the Virginia Beach Convention Center at 1000 19th Street.
