The summer is winding down, but the fun continues in the Virginia Beach KOA community. In the days ahead, you can look forward to the Oceana Air Show and Fiesta Italiana.

Oceana Air Show
On September 10 and 11, Virginia Beach will host its annual Air Show, an event that attracts more than 280,000 visitors. If you have children, the festivity will be particularly interesting because it will have an outdoor STEM laboratory that highlights careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. You’ll see ground displays along with a thrilling performance by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels flight demonstration team. Food and novelty vendors will also be available.
Fiesta Italiana
Experience the tastes and sounds of Italian culture at Fiesta Italiana on September 16. During this celebration, you can chow down on pizza and pasta as well as savor the ethnicity’s singing and dancing. You’ll even have an opportunity to stomp on grapes like the Italians did in ages past. The festivity offers entertainment for the whole family, and admission is free. Hours are from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday.
