Neptune’s Arts and Crafts Show
It’s always interesting to browse through beautiful works of art in galleries. However, when the walls and ceilings of galleries are exchanged for the Atlantic Ocean and vast blue sky, the experience is even more enjoyable.

On September 30 to October 2, the Neptune’s Arts and Crafts Show will be held at the boardwalk between 20th and 30th Streets. More than 250 artisans will exhibit their creativity through paintings, photography, sculptures and glasswork. Hours are from noon to 7 p.m. on September 30, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on October 1, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on October 2. Admission is free.
Boardwalk Weekend
An event that will coincide with the arts show is Boardwalk Weekend. Scheduled for September 30 to October 2, it is a time when hundreds of thousands of people will flock to the area to shop, dine and attend outdoor concerts. Local and national artists will perform on three stages located at 17th Street Park, 24th Street Park, and 31st Street Park. Hours are from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. on September 30, from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. on October 1, and from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on October 2. Don’t miss the fireworks at 9 p.m. on October 1.
