Salute Fallen Heroes and Celebrate Summer

Salute to Summer takes place May 22 – 24 at 17th Street Park, 24th Street Park and 31st Street Park. This salute celebrates music, summer fun and military men and women who have died as heroes for our wonderful country. There will be three large outdoor stages full of live entertainment. Visit the Heroes Walk display that stretches along the Boardwalk and read essays by high school students reproduced on large banners. Student writing will speak on military conflicts throughout history and the importance of our armed forces.
So come out to Virginia Beach and honor veterans, police officers, fire fighters and people who have served for the safety of the nation.
