The Anthem Half Marathon kicks off on March 22, 2015 at 7 a.m. and takes you north into residential neighborhoods and along the tree-lined Shore Drive, adjacent to First Landing State Park. You will pass a historical site in Fort Story and the Cape Henry lighthouse – the oldest lighthouse in the United States. The course finishes on the Virginia Beach Boardwalk.
The TowneBank Shamrock 8k will take place on March 21, 2015 at 7:45 a.m. The 8k follows a scenic course on paved roads in the heart of Virginia Beach. Thousands of fans will cheer you on as you push toward the finish line, and achieving your goals. The 8k finishes on the world-famous Boardwalk with the ocean as a backdrop. And don’t miss out on the post-race party!
