Oceanfront Ice Park Opens Soon
Winter is nearly here, so it’s time to lace up your ice skates! Skate on over to Virginia Beach KOA for some family friendly winter fun.

he Oceanfront Ice Park at Rudee Loop will be open from Nov. 26, 2014 – Feb. 1, 2015. The premier outdoor skating rink is coming right over to Virginia Beach in conjunction with McDonald’s Holiday Lights at the Beach. The Ice Park complex will be set up at the entrance to the Boardwalk, where thousands of Christmas lights will set you in a cheery mood. Oceanfront Ice Park will boast an impressive 7,200 square-foot ice skating surface, so grab your favorite people and show us your tricks!
Whether you’re doing triple axles or just trying to stay standing, you’ll have a ton of fun with events, activities, and a holiday-themed carnival area for the kids. Admission is just $12 for individuals and $45 for families up to five people, which includes rental skates and unlimited skating for the evening. Skating is open to ages four and up.
