Tie up your laces and don your scariest, most creative costumes. Halloween season in Virginia Beach is the perfect time to camp! Enjoy cooler temperatures and great scenery at Virginia Beach KOA.
The Wicked 10k will take place this Saturday, October 25, 2014. The 10k course is fast and flat takes you along the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. It includes a zombie zone and live “Thriller” dancers. Runners will travel down 19th Street and up Atlantic Avenue, then down the Boardwalk and end up back at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. Run for fun as you dress up for the Halloween season and come up with the most creative costumes.
The race also features the Old Point National Bank Monster Mile course, which is a 1-mile race open to all ages. It begins on 19th Street in front of the Virginia Beach Convention Center, travels east for half a mile, then returns.
The costume contest judging will take place before and after the races. In order to qualify for spooky-good prizes, you must wear your costume during the race. To register, visit the event website.
