The Funk Era Returns to Virginia Beach
Virginia Beach has a treat for those of you still stuck in the funk era. The State Farm FunkFest is coming up, and you can stay at Virginia Beach KOA for a fun vacation!
The State Farm FunkFest will take place on the stage on the beach at 24th street on August 22-23. Come out to hear music by influential legends (think James Brown, Sly and the Family Stone, George Clinton and The Ohio Players.) While the music style that blends soul, jazz and R&B originated in the 1960s, it certainly hasn’t died out! It’s time to get your feet moving.
