Virginia Beach provides visitors with wonderful outdoor experiences but there’s a whole other world indoors to enjoy at the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts, Virginia Beach's cultural venue.

The performing venue is just a short drive from the Virginia Beach KOA.

March events that are part of the center’s Great Performance Series include the following:

• Chris Botti, March 13. His early career was spent crafting his trumpet skills in settings reaching from the Buddy Rich Big Band and Frank Sinatra to Natalie Cole and Joni Mitchell. Throughout the '90s and into the new century, Botti played extensively with Paul Simon, and had an especially creative association with Sting.

•Jim Belushi & the Board of Comedy, March 14. With more than 30 years of experience and an alumnus of “Saturday Night Live” and Chicago’s famed Second City, Jim Belushi is now bringing to the stage an improvised comedy sketch show featuring members of the Chicago Board of Comedy.

• Rain - A Tribute to the Beatles, March 18. RAIN performs the full range of The Beatles' discography live onstage, including the most complex and challenging songs that The Beatles themselves recorded in the studio but never performed for an audience. Together longer than The Beatles, RAIN has mastered every song, gesture and nuance of the legendary foursome.

• The Irish Tenors, March 25. Finbar Wright, Anthony Kearns and Ronan Tynan have been touring together as The Irish Tenors since 1998, with sold-out shows at Radio City Music Hall, Sydney Opera House, Carnegie Hall, The Hollywood Bowl, and major concert halls throughout the world. Their faces and voices are familiar to PBS audiences throughout the country.
