Yuengling Shamrock Marathon

On March 15 through 17 the city will be hosting the Yuengling Shamrock Marathon, an event that will not only involve running races but also a sports and fitness expo. Virginia Beach KOA is offering a 10 percent discount for those entering the marathon. The only thing required is to show your registration.

Another event on tap for this weekend is the 27^th Annual Virginia Beach Spring Craft Market. This creative festivity will feature the work of more than 150 artists and craftspeople from around the country offering paintings, specialty foods and photography, along with jewelry, clothing and candles. New lines will include home and garden accessories, such as statuary, birdhouses and outdoor furniture, as well as wind chimes, pottery and welcome wreaths.

Everyone is Irish on March 16, as the community gathers at the Town Center’s Fountain Plaza to celebrate Shamrock the Block. This occasion will involve music, Celtic games and fun for the entire family.
