Star Party – Mt. Trashmore

starGazing at the beauty and wonders of the night sky is a pastime that has captivated people down through the ages. Late in the evening on March 22, residents of Virginia Beach KOA can attend a star gazing party on Mr. Trashmore, where they can view the celestial hosts through a variety of telescopes. Representatives from the Virginia Beach Public Schools Planetarium and Back Bay Amateur Astronomers will be on hand to point out constellations. The event begins at 11 p.m.

On March 22 through 24, the National Cheer Championship by the Sea will be held at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. It should be entertaining to watch this competition that is a mixture of showmanship and athletic prowess. Tickets for one day range from $14 to $20.

Gorgeous classical music will fill the air on the afternoon of March 24 at the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts, as the symphony performs Mozart and Mendelssohn. The event starts at 3 p.m., and tickets range from $19 to $40.
