Fall Kickoff

Summer is over and it’s time for the fall football season to begin. On September 21 and 22, campers at Virginia Beach KOA can participate in fall kickoff, where they can wear their favorite team’s apparel. Residents can also have the fun of decorating their site with their team’s colors and competing for the best team campsite.

A good place for delicious barbeque that has been slow cooked for hours is Jake’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que. Try the chicken with your choice of sides, such as mouth-watering beans and hush puppies. Top it all off with an order of banana pudding, brownie delight or fruit cobbler.

The oceanfront always has live entertainment on Fridays and Saturdays. Some of the groups scheduled for this weekend include Bam Bam Betty, Stingrays and Rhythm Kings.
