Western Weekend

Yee Ha! Western Weekend is coming up August 3 through 5, so rummage through your closet to rig up a country-western outfit to wear to the festivities. On the patio, we will have line dancing to country music. If you’ve never tried this kind of dancing, it’s actually very easy. The event is a good opportunity to let your hair down and have some down-home fun.

As always, the nearby beachfront will have a seemingly endless array of entertainment. Friday night at 8 p.m., the latest in the free summer concert series will be held, featuring a band playing the music of Elton John and Billy Joel. An alternative concert on Friday night is a program honoring the life and music of Ella Fitzgerald, held at the 13^th St. Virginia Legends Walk Stage
