Death by Chocolate

If you are a chocoholic – and few people aren’t—you couldn’t pick a better time to stay at Virginia Beach KOA than the weekend of July 27 to 29. This Death by Chocolate event will celebrate the joy and delight of this delectable food through an array of activities that includes competitions and chocolate slip ‘n slide.

Another event on the schedule is a Chocolate Potluck Buffet, so cook your favorite dessert and bring it to share with others. Do you have a decadent brownie recipe or a way of making mouth-wateringly smooth, rich fudge? On the other hand, perhaps you know how to put a creative twist on a standard like chocolate cake.  Whatever your specialty is, it will be welcome. In addition, you’re sure to enjoy sampling all the desserts, and you may get ideas and inspiration from the other campers for your chocolate cooking.

On the beachfront on July 27, make plans to attend the latest installment of the free concert series. This evening, the Dave Mathews Tribute band will entertain.
