Merry Christmas from Virginia Beach KOA! Celebrate the holidays and enjoy a relaxing, family-friendly vacation. From events almost every weekend on the beach to moderate winters and beautiful weather, Virginia Beach KOA is the place to be as you welcome in 2015. Last Night on the Town is taking place on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 from 2 p.m. to January 1, 2015 at 1 a.m. Last Night on the Town is Virginia Beach’s premier New Year’s Eve event. Festivities will take place during the day at Pembroke Mall with entertainment for the whole family, including The Magic of Krendi and Company and a children’s countdown and “midnight” celebration at 5 p.m. Adult fun will continue through the Town Center with live music by Llamas at Brunch, The Fuzz Band, Seth Stainback and Roosterfoot and the headline band Eddie Money. Run Through Brilliant Lights and a Crowd of Santas

If you’ve become an expert mall-walker this holiday season, why not lace up your sneakers for a race? Come on out to Virginia Beach KOA and celebrate the holidays with us. The Surf-N-Santa five-miler race will take place on December 20, 2014. Run through the beautiful ocean area at twilight under the holiday lights at the beach. The race will finish inside the Convention Center for a Rockin’ Holiday Party. The race starts at 4:30 p.m. and the holiday party goes from 5 – 8:30 p.m. The five-miler course is a flat and fast course though the holiday light displays on the Virginia Beach Boardwalk. All participants receive a unique medal, long sleeve technical tee, a finisher’s item and access to the Rockin’ Holiday Party.
